SERIES IV | JUNGLE

$ 55.00$ 105.00

This artwork was inspired by – and actually created – during one of my many visits to Goa. Scooter rides through dirt roads, markets, and crazy junctions, and parties on the beach are a few of the things I would enjoy – but most of all, waking up to the sounds and sight of pure lush nature.

This body of work is a contemporary exploration of belonging – or lack thereof. Geometries from Jordanian Bedouin weavings and Palestinian embroidery have been deconstructed and interwoven with personal stories and contemporary colour palettes, for a fresh – and personal – take on heritage.

This is a print of an original drawing I created using mixed media (colour pencils, marker, pen) on archival paper.

ART PRINTS
I only work with reputable, high-quality fine art printers when producing my art prints. All prints are produced using archival inks and paper, or 100% cotton canvas. This means that if taken care of properly, the colours will not yellow or fade over time.

RESIN ART JEWELLERY
Resin is a material that originally comes from plant resin – the sticky transparent substance you see on tree barks. The resin I use is a jewellery grade resin, which means it’s non-yellowing and non-toxic. Please note that due to their handcrafted nature, the pieces are imperfect; I make individual moulds out of clay and sand the pieces by hand once they cure so the surfaces are uneven. This adds character and depth to your piece.
