Making Home
"Making Home" is an art collection that came to life as we bought and moved into our new home. Inspired by the textures of the neighbourhood, the scenes are abstracted, capturing the urban essence of the surroundings.
The pieces also embody a spiritual manifestation of the process, reflecting the journey of settling in, and exploring questions of identity prompted by the concept of "home".
The artworks are intentionally raw, incorporating collage and different mark-making techniques, symbolising the building of layers of stories, experiences, and the organic development of our home.
